Frequently Asked Questions

  • I do offer split payments. Typically, there is an initial deposit due at the beginning of the project, another portion due midway through, and a final portion before your site goes live. During our initial call, we’ll talk about your budget and how that plays into the project plan.

  • Nope! Some web designers do have a subscription-based model. I prefer to give you a quote on the front end, and once your website is live, you’re done making payments to me. If you decide later on that you need support with adding pages or making changes on your website, I may be available for an hourly fee.

Please note: you will have ongoing costs for your Squarespace subscription, domain name, etc. Those payments are not made to me.

  • As a web designer, I focus on the visual aspect of the website, rather than the writing (“copywriting”). I do provide a copywriting guide to my web design clients who feel open to trying it themselves. Alternatively, I am grateful to be connected to skilled copywriters who can jump into the project to provide copywriting services. If you’re interested in having a copywriter on board, let me know!

  • While the visuals of your website are my focus, photography is outside of my scope. If you already have professional brand photos ready to go, that’s perfect! I can utilize those in the design of your website. Additionally, I am connected to several photographers who support therapists and service-based businesses, and they sometimes join me to support my web design clients. If you’d rather DIY it, make sure you have natural lighting and a decluttered background!

  • As an art therapist and licensed counselor with experience in private practice, I get it. I understand the importance of having a clear website for your clients to find you. I know that your website is often the first impression of you and your practice. With that, I prioritize creating a design that fits your personality and your niche, while allowing visitors to easily find the information they need.
